Edmund Blair-Leighton Art Prints and Posters
Painting in the mid to late 19th century, several young artists including Edmund Blair-Leighton (1853-1922), inspired by the Renaissance and the Italian painter and architect Raphael, formed the secret society known as the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. Their paintings reflect medieval and Arthurian themes with a strong element of romance.
Blair-Leighton's art work lends a wonderfully romantic medieval look and feel to any room, though one of his most popular paintings, Signing the Register, depicts an early Victorian scene.
